LE SUPRÊME MAT
You can quickly and easily put this colorless wood varnish with matte finish on your table. It gives an extremely good protection against scratches, bumps and stains, perfect for all your furniture. Thanks to its matte finish, you do not see the varnish but the natural colors of the wood.
The varnish is tested for food contact and has the EN71-3 toy standard.

- Odorless
- EN 71-3 Toy standard
- Tested for food contact

- Does not yellow
BEFORE VARNISHING:
Use this product only on clean and dry wood.
If the table has been delivered by us, you just have to clean it with a damp rag and it is ready to be varnished.
If you wish to treat the teak cabinets, it is necessary to give them a final fine sanding with a scouring sponge (opening the pores and removing any last bumps that may appear as the wood dries), then wipe with a slightly damp cloth. After that, the cabinet is ready to treat.
USE:
- Wipe the table with a damp cloth and shake the jar well.
- Apply the varnish with a brush or rag in the direction of the grain. ( Never pour the varnish directly on the table this will leave spots)
- Equalize after the first coat and dust again.
- Now apply the last 1 or 2 coats.
- We usually recommend 3 coats. But you can tell when the table has had “enough” varnish when you notice that you are using up almost no varnish and you are just “wetting” the table.
- Varnish the table along the top, sides and 10 cm at the bottom. That way should wine or cola be spilled it could not penetrate the table along the bottom. We recommend not varnishing the rest of the table so that it can continue to “breathe”.
PROPERTIES:

DIFFERENCE MATTE AND SATIN:
The satin varnish protects better than the matte. The matte finish reflects almost no light making the finish almost invisible, while with the satin look ensures that if there is little light a kind of shine appears that increases the brightness of your room.
But both varnishes provide excellent protection, so finally it's mostly a choice based on the visual result you want: a matte colorless finish or a slightly glossy surface with a darker surface.
