Bowl en teck

A teak bowl is a popular choice as a decorative object because of the warm and natural look of teak. Teak wood comes from the Tectona grandis tree and is known for its beauty and durability.

In general, a teak bowl has a round or oval shape, like a bowl or saucer. It can have a shallow or deep bowl shape, with smooth curved edges, or a more rustic look with rougher edges, depending on the finish. But there are also teak balls with natural openings. A lust for the eye!

The texture and grain structure of teak gives each bowl a unique character. The wood usually has a rich, golden-brown color with beautiful dark stripes and patterns that accentuate the natural beauty of the wood. These features add to the aesthetic appeal of the teak shell and make it a decorative showpiece in the home.

Teak shells can be used in different ways. They can serve as decorative bowls to place fruit, flowers, candles, or other decorative items, for example. Some bowls also serve a practical purpose, such as serving food or storing small items.

We also have teak planks in our range. These boards are a perfect partner as a cutting board in the kitchen, but also as a serving plate for cheese, various tapas, cake, chocolates, ... and so much more, such as for serving steak or côte-à-l'os.

Over time, teak wood can develop a silver-gray patina from exposure to light and air. This is a natural process and gives the teak bowl an aged and rustic look. If you want to keep the original color, regular maintenance, and the application of a protective finish such as an oil or beeswax may be necessary.

You can easily maintain a teak shell, dust it with a dry or wet cloth.
