You can distinguish between “classic consoles” and the “root consoles”. Classic consoles are a traditional piece of furniture with often a combination of open spaces and drawers under the top. A root console is a solid piece of wood from the root of the tree or from a section of the trunk close to the root. The latter is made from trees that have an opening in the trunk at the bottom, often because of disease, damage, age or the impact of water.

The classic consoles in our range are made from teak wood, while the root consoles come from teak tree roots, trunks from the SUAR tree or the Tamarind tree.
